Stop heavy truck traffic
More than 100 heavy truck trips per day will carry copper ore across unpaved Santa Rita Road and through the Santa Rita Experimental Range, then through Sahuarita and to and from I-19, sending the ore for refining overseas.

This means Copper World's 24-hour heavy trucks will roll through Sahuarita's main corridor, carrying copper concentrate, diesel fuel, sulfuric acid, and other hazardous chemicals and explosives.
ACT: Ask the Sahuarita Town Council to request a traffic study.

Say NO to
arsenic and lead
These are just two of the poisons that will be found in Copper World's millions of tons of mining waste. Hudbay plans to pile this dust hundreds of feet high within 600 feet of homes and just over a mile from an elementary school in Corona de Tucson. Wind across the waste piles is predicted to blow dust into the community and schools, where children will breathe it.
ACT: Ask for your voices to cancel an illegal right of way across the Santa Rita Experimental Range.
