The Pima County Board of Supervisors is considering a new ordinance that would limit heavy truck traffic across unpaved roads throughout the county. The county believes this ordinance can improve air quality countywide and help meet federal clean air standards. The ordinance would limit trucks from a single entity to no more than 75 trips per day and will protect public health by reducing dust associated with a variety of respiratory ailments.
